About 3008:
After playing the demo and seeing videos I was not sure If I was going to like this. But after getting the full experience I would recommend this game at full price. I did not encounter any bugs and the combat was difficult but not “souls” difficult, so instead of throwing my steamdeck across the room I was able to keep progressing. I tested this at full graphics at 30-FPS locked and was able to get about 3-4 hours play time every session. The story is awesome. The music and sounds work with the different cities. Only downside is some controls, such as jumping off side walls does not always work immediately. This game is beautiful. Great story, amazing 2D characters put into an amazing 3D environment. The gameplay is amazing too. Just everything is amazing. An excellent indie cyberpunk game: combat is engaging, voice acting is superb, various weapons choices and almost endless enemy varieties really makes the 18 hours I played the game fun. Also, the side quests can be goofy, the platforming can be a bit challenging probably due to the fact I haven’t played 2D games for a long time(but it’s still interesting). The majority reviews (steam and from other sites) I see criticize the story, but I am not sure I agree with the viewpoint that the story turn into a mess half way through. Still, I agree they can be told better and the character development of the people like “Absalom”, “K”, “Melisa” and the main villain have a lot of room to improve.
