About Aimblox:
Positive review for the uniqueness, concept and overall execution of this idea. The game is fun, especially on the standard difficulty. My biggest issues with this game come with the “Pro” difficulty, as the design flaws start to become apparent there: falling is too fast and too random (you can hit a cliff and start bouncing left&right like crazy), which isn’t too much of an issue until stages 4-5-6. Transition screens are often obnoxiously hard, and there are occasional platforming sequences where you have to jump ‘sideways’ through obstacles to get ahead, which defeats the concept of the game in my opinion. Nonetheless, this still gets a thumbs up from me as I really enjoyed the normal difficulty and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience. Screen transition are frustrating but in an unfair way. Once you leave a screen it instantly, without hesitation cuts to the next screen making the first jumps in said screen some of the worst jumps you will need to hit. This is currently my biggest issue and I dread every transition I come across. It would be nice having a temporary slowed fall speed to compensate with the awful transitions, a heads up on the positions of the next couple of targets in a screen or an barrier where you can’t exceed falling below it (but that would make the game much easier then it currently is). Literally any compensation for transitions or just better/smoother transitions in the first place.
