About Pet Simulator X:
While I generally view myself as a patient player when it comes to SIM games I was sorely disappointed as I tried to find the joy in this game. Got it in a bundle, was excited for some mindnumbing hours of clicking on artificial animals. Instead I barely played half an hour listening to vague instructions and wondering why the screen was so darn bright. The animals, the ones I have seen, were cute but aside from that the game is too slow and does not live up to the ‘2’ in the title. If this is two, how bad is 1? (I would not know, it doesn’t start on my laptop for some vague reason). Other than that, any dungeon themes you have unlocked are usueable, as are color schemes and workers. Its not meant to be overly challenging its just meant to be a fun little diversion. But, there is one more thing and as of this writing i have not gotten to test it, when you beat all the dungeons you gain access to a “god mode” that the game constantly teases, this seems to be the ultimate reward, allowing you to reshape anything and everything in a dungeon (Limited to Skirmish and Sandbox levels.) to your whim. In conclusion, for the price this is certainly not bad, if you are a fan of the game i would recommend it. If you are just a bit of a casual fan, or are mainly in the game for strategy or challenging gameplay. I would still recommend it, just not as highly. Maybe waiting until it goes on sale, i personally put 4 straight hours into it when i first got it.
