About The Streets:
I really like this game, but I can’t recommend it just because of the netcode. It’s rollback, but with desync issues. Over the years they’ve greatly decreased the symptoms of these desyncs, but it will still happen. They’ve essentially just been putting band-aids over something that needs stitches. My personal experience on PC has honestly been pretty good, I haven’t had anything unplayable (outside of people using wifi, but that’s not the game’s fault), but whether you have a good experience seems to be a dice roll. Some people just get it a lot worse than others. Unfortunately, in the time it will take you to confidently say if your online experience is overall good or bad, you’ll be multiple hours over Steam’s refund time limit. If your computer can’t run the game smoothly, you’ll be ruining it for other people. Same with using Wi-Fi instead of ethernet. This is sorta true for all rollback fighting games, but this game literally does nothing to deal with those issues. Also, PLEASE change your online stage settings so you only get either variation of Training Stage, because most other stages will effect the netcode as well, especially when playing against ps4 players who drop frames outside of Training Stage. TL;DR bad netcode, sometimes the opponent will teleport around like naruto for no real reason while you look completely normal on their end, and vice versa experience. I’m a new player to the fighting game community and even though I started in Rookie rank(0 lp) I find it is populated with quite a few people, never wait longer than a few seconds for a match in ranked or casual.
